Acuma Incorporated is the peak representative body for staff and managers of service providers on tertiary campuses in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2009, Acuma members cover some 80% of Universities Australia members, providing services and facilities for the use of 89% of Australian university students.

February 2009:
Higher Education Legislation Amendment (Student Services and Amenities, and Other Measures) Bill 2009

Documents released by the Minister for Youth, Kate Ellis, in support of the Higher Education Legislation Amendment (Student Services and Amenities, and Other Measures) Bill 2009:

  1. Student Services and Amenities Fees Guidelines which specifies the purposes for which any compulsory services fee may be used
  2. Student Services, Amenities, Representation and Advocacy Guidelines which detail the National Access to Services Benchmarks, relating to the provision of information on and access to student support services of a non-academic nature, and the National Student Representation and Advocacy Protocols, relating to mechanisms for opportunities for student representation and access to advocacy services

Employment in the Australian and New Zealand tertiary campus services sector

Acuma offers a noticeboard space for members to advertise current vacancies in their organisation. Details will be updated as and when vacancies are received; all Acuma member organisations are invitied to submit details for inclusion.
