ACUMA Incorporated and the Tertiary Access Group
ACUMA Incorporated has a long-standing relationship with the Tertiary Access Group (TAG), a buying cooperative dealing with University and TAFE associations across Australia. Like ACUMA Incorporated members, TAG members service in excess of 1,000,000 students nationally.
TAG evolved from its previous incarnation as the ACUMA Buying Co-operative Limited, a sister organisation to ACUMA, complementing ACUMA's primary industry roles in representation, professional development and higher education industry research.
In mid-2007, TAG members agreed to a change of name, becoming the Tertiary Access Group, which more clearly represented the aims and capabilities of the organisation in the changing tertiary education landscape.
Membership is restricted to tertiary service providers and is gained through the purchase of shares, gauged on the number of students enrolled at the Member's parent tertiary institution.
